Mobile Caterer of the Year Award
The 'Mobile Caterer of the Year' award is run buy the National Mobile Catering Association (NCASS). Established over 30 years ago, NCASS are the recognised trade representative organisation for outside caterers and street food vendors. To win this award we were judged according to seven strict criteria: overall appearance, cleanliness, variety and complexity of menu, quality of food, attitude of staff, popularity at events, and value for money.
The British Street Food Awards, 2012
We were nominated for the British Street Food Awards, 2012 and gained the prestigious title, 'Street Food Heroes'.

We were featured in an article on ‘The world's best street food’. The article recognises us for trialling tomales during our 2012 festival season.
Street Food Revolution, published in 2011
In the fantastic book by Richard Johnson, Flaming Cactus is described as one of the 'founding fathers' of the UK street food revolution.
